My story starts as anyone's in post. Blurring faces, removing pixels, and syncing, grouping, logging.
I quickly grew into a colorist and began editing within my first year in the industry.

I started my company in August 2023 and have become obsessed with all things business. When I started it I thought I would just use my LLC to freelance for projects making my taxes easier. I quickly realized that was not the journey I was on.
I have edited with individuals, corporations, and now wedding couples to bring each unique story to life passionately creating something worth watching in a world full of mindless content.
But outside of editing, I had to learn how to show up to client meetings, set expectations, pull their desires out of them when they weren't quite sure what they wanted. I had to learn how to work without a team, no audio guy, no producer, no creative colleagues to give opinions before sending it out to the client. Partnered with learning website design, all the admin work, networking, and gaining the confidence of I know what I'm doing.
This journey has been so unexpected in terms of ways it has made me grow and I love it. Each client is completely unique and I mold my editing to their desires. I hold strong to the idea that editing based on trends that won't last longer than it takes to post a video is a waste of time and true brands should have their own voice that represents who they are.
Then I realized that cameras aren't 50lbs and sitting on my shoulder anymore and I could FINALLY explore shooting like I've always wanted. So I took an online course, bought everything I could think of, and headed out. I shot for an architecture company crafting their launch video. I shot a red carpet event and a live bayside event. Then I shot a wedding. And it was the Harry Potter wand moment. Capturing the magic that is a wedding is so unique to me. And apparently feeling that way is also unique because every person in my industry I've spoken to HATES shooting weddings. So here I am, living outside of the box loving post production while falling madly in love with filming weddings. I'm excited to see where this journey takes me.

Responsible for editing and coloring the heartfelt stories brought to you by Subaru adoption events played during Puppy Bowl.
My time with Warner Bros. Discovery began as a contractor working one night a week on Friday nights of all days, as an editor responsible for reversions and redeliveries. Flashy, I know. Honestly, I didn't mind the mind-numbing working and it got my foot in the door. After 7 months of covering people when they were on vacation and manning my Friday night desk, I was recommended by my supervisor for a full time position on a team that was moving down from DC after Discovery purchased Scripps. That team was everything. The unique position the team was in working so closely to David Zaslov and David Leavy allowed us to have a hand in quite literally everything. We were going on shoots as editors, overseeing creative direction, doing entire upfront shows during covid, launching FoodNetworkKitchen, Discovery+, and MAX. My boss was literally the person who created the announcement video for the merger between Discovery and Warner Brothers. The opportunity was literally a god send. During that time I grew from media managing, assistant editing, and editing things no one else wanted to edit (which hilariously enough was Coyote Peterson shorts at the time...and now he's majorly popular), to a full blown editor, colorist, and trainer of basically the entire post team. I was trusted with troubleshooting, and not just "I can't get into my computer" but working with engineering to break programs before they would launch to the rest of the company. I onboarded editors walking them through our systems during a time when the idea of tunneling in was like I was teaching actual rocket science. Above all, the high quality and insanely talented people I was surrounded by was unmatchable. The growth experienced from just working alongside them and tapping into the same creative flow is something I will cherish forever.
I actually really enjoyed my time as a freelancer because not only did I color correct and edit on various projects, but I used this time to explore what this industry was. I went as far as to join the set construction crew for a FREEZING cold shoot in a warehouse where I was (of course) the only girl...and also the hardest worker. At least one of the hardest. I connected with set designers and got to really see what makes a story go from an idea talked about in a room to grow into a set that is then captured on film and all of the time, effort, and collaboration it takes to hand me footage where my job would at that time begin.
RIVR Media. Where it all began. A small reality-television company that was carrying high quality shows within the walls. This place was such a family and I continue to work with these people today in various degrees. I began as an intern and within weeks I was training their new hires. I was responsible for all of the regular AE tasks: blurring, pixel elimination, preparing graphics, syncing, grouping, logging, matching drone shots to flying over a car to shots within the car with no timecode to match up to, and editing segments for editors. This place was the perfect place for me to start my career because with the intimate nature of the company I was able to shadow pretty much every person who worked there. I went on shoots with our Digital company next door, I learned (okay maybe I TRIED to learn) audition from the audio expert, but most importantly I shadowed the director of post learning everything about his job. I was color correcting full length episodes within months along with QCing and delivering the episodes to XDCam discs. Painting stories is my first love in this field. Using color to reinforce the stories was a world I did not know existed. The amount of hours my Post Director put into teaching me I will be forever grateful for. This place taught me that nothing will get out the door without every single person working in seamless collaboration.
A mashup of the true crime genre as a promo for Discovery+. These are fun and high stakes going on television to market the app.
A series I edited and colored two times: first when Discovery purchased Scripps and then again when Discovery merged with Warner Brothers. Using these videos as a way to unite both companies and create trust from leadership to the employees by giving some insight into who the executives are. I went on this shoot to oversee the creative look allowing me to meet Channing Dungey which was a true honor, along with JB Perrette.
